In 1993, local veterinarians recognized a real need in Collier County for an after-hours emergency veterinary hospital. They perceived that a centrally located specialized facility, which had emergency personnel ready to respond, would make critical emergency care more readily available after office hours. The Emergency Pet Hospital of Collier County was established. The hospital has since grown, along with our community and progressed with advances in veterinary emergency care. The hospital is not intended to serve as a substitute for your family veterinarian, but rather, as an independent extension for emergency care. Clients are referred back to their regular practices when follow-up care is needed. Due to the nature of an emergency facility, patients arrive at any time. Emergencies are treated in order of severity. Please understand that patients may not be seen on a first come, first serve basis
