Dr. Bivens has practiced in Charlotte County since 1994. She owned an operated a clinic downtown Punta Gorda until 2012, when she decided to do something smaller and more personal. For five years, she did a house call practice with a mobile veterinary clinic; however, the house call practice was limiting. Dr. Bivens began Bivens Animal Hospital, to merge her two desires. The clinic is small and personal, much like the house call practice was. However, the clinic setting allows more technology (full labs, digital radiographs), hospitalization
