Dr. Valentine is the owner and primary veterinarian here at Cedar Bay Veterinary Clinic, having bought the clinic in September of 2014. Dr. Valentine has been a practicing small animal veterinarian for over 25 years. She graduated from the University of Michigan with a degree in Medical Technology and then went on to complete her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from Michigan State University. She practiced for many years in Tennessee before moving to Florida, having extensive experience in various aspects of veterinary medicine including mixed animal practice, small animal practice, house call care for elderly clients, treating and rehabilitating injured wildlife, and scientific research at Vanderbilt University
