Dr. Nancylee Bielawski graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. Next, she completed a one-year internship with Ocala Equine Hospital in Ocala, FL. Afterward, she practiced for two years with a private equine practice treating a wide variety of horses which included performance, pleasure, race, and breeding horses. While practicing, she attended the Chi Institute for Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, Reddick, FL, and began to use these skills to complement her traditional western veterinary medicine work. She quickly had many successes, particularly with back-sore horses and non-sweaters, and decided to devote her practice to treating horses with T.C.V.M therapies. Dr. Bielawski currently treats patients with T.C.V.M. modalities and works closely with referring veterinarians in the best interest of the patient. Dr. Bielawski is a lifelong horse person. Long before going to veterinary school she became a licensed veterinary technician in New York. While working as a small animal veterinary technician, she had the opportunity to work with Dr. Allen Schoen, a leader in the field of complementary veterinary medicine, and became very interested in acupuncture and Chinese Medicine. She had her own horse treated successfully by Dr. Schoen for back pain. This began a lifelong interest in alternative medicine and its varied applications. She has owned horses herself for more than 30 years
