Gardner & Hydrick Veterinarians is a locally owned, family-run veterinary practice dedicated to providing exceptional, compassionate care for pets in our community. Unlike corporate veterinary hospitals, our practice remains independent allowing us to focus on what matters most: individualized medicine, patient comfort, and trusted relationships. We are proud to serve as a long-standing veterinary partner for families in Albany and the surrounding areas

Founded in 1969 by Dr. Dick Hydrick and Dr. Allan Gardner, both 1964 graduates of the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, the practice was built on a foundation of quality medicine, integrity, and personal connection. With clinics in Albany, Sylvester, and Leesburg, the partners practiced side by side for more than 40 years until Dr. Gardner's retirement in 2012. Following Dr. Gardner's retirement, the practice remained family-owned as Dr. Hydrick's daughter, Dr. Haley Clark stepped into the clinic, continuing a multi-generational legacy of hands-on, thoughtful veterinary care
