Our professional and friendly staff strives to provide the highest standards of veterinary medicine and service. Dr. Samuel G. Harper grew up in Americus, Georgia, where he graduated from Southland Academy. He earned a B.S. in Biology from Georgia Southwestern College in 1979. He received his DVM degree from the University of Georgia in 1983 and returned to his hometown of Americus to practice veterinary medicine. After five and a half years, Dr. Harper, his wife, and their three children left for missionary service with the International Mission Board from 1989 to 1999, serving one year in Costa Rica and the remaining time in Peru. On may 15, 2001, he re-opened his practice, Harper's Animal Clinic, Inc., where he is currently practicing small animal medicine and surgery
