Vernon Woods Animal Hospital is a full-service animal hospital that has been providing excellent veterinary care in the heart of Sandy Springs, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia, for over 40 years. Conveniently located at 270 Vernon Woods Drive NE, Atlanta, GA 30328, we pride ourselves on the personalized attention we give to all of our clients and patients. Although the majority of our patients are dogs and cats, our knowledgeable veterinary team is also equipped to care for small mammals such as ferrets, rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters, and gerbils
A family run animal hospital since 1973. Vernon Woods Animal Hospital is a full-service veterinary hospital in North Sandy Springs, just outside of Atlanta, Georgia. Our local, family-owned animal clinic has been treating pets for over 40 years—founded by Dr. Jay Empel in 1973 and now under the leadership of his son, Medical Director, Dr. Andrew Empel
