Overview
For over 30 years Southwest Veterinary Clinic offers a wide range of healthcare and wellness services for your pets in Atlanta, Georgia. From dental care, parasite prevention and control for cats and dogs to surgeries, microchip implantations, and vaccinations, we offer all types of veterinary services for your four-legged friends
In 1970, Dr. William McCant, a North Carolina State and Tuskegee University graduate, opened Southwest Veterinary Clinic. Dr. McCant was a leader and businessman who loved his community and his family. He proudly served the Southwest Atlanta area for 47 years. During that time, Dr. McCant was a visionary and mentor to many of the surrounding veterinarians and members of the community. The hospital closed its doors in the Spring of 2017 with the untimely passing of Dr. McCant. Southwest Veterinary Clinic has reopened as of Fall of 2019. The exterior is a little different (new doctor, new staff, new paint). The foundation in which Dr. McCant built remains the same. A commitment to service, compassion, and integrity
