Dr. Shannon Ewing opened Collier Animal Hospital in 2008. Hailing from Columbia, South Carolina, she earned her undergraduate at the University of Florida, veterinary degree at the University of Georgia College of Veterinary Medicine, and completed a small animal internship at Purdue University
