Dr. Sherri Carithers grew up in Athens, Georgia, and decided at an early age that she wanted to become a veterinarian after trying to nurse her puppies back to health after they were diagnosed with parvovirus. After graduating from high school, Dr. Carithers attended Tuskegee University and graduated in 1996 with a BS in animal science. She also earned her Doctorate of veterinary medicine from Tuskegee University in 2000. Since graduation, Dr. Sherri has worked in several animal hospitals as a small animal veterinarian in the Atlanta area as well as performing high volume spays and neuters at Paws Atlanta. Dr. Carithers has lived and worked in the Covington area since 2005 and in January 2008 decided to open a full-service mobile veterinary clinic
