Baranik Animal Care

Baranik Animal Care is a full service animal hospital and will take both emergency cases as well as less urgent medical, surgical, and dental issues. Dr. Kristy Baranik is experienced in all types of conditions and treatments. Beyond first rate pet care, we make our clinic comfortable, kid-friendly, and a very calm environment so your pet can relax in the waiting room and look forward to meeting his or her own Suwanee veterinarian

Dr. Baranik was born in Miami, Florida and has lived in Georgia since she was six years old. Ever since she was in kindergarten, she wanted to be a veterinarian. Her first dog (the family dog), Sheba, a black Lab, began an obsession with animals that has only grown stronger with age. Today, Dr. Baranik lives with many cats and dogs; most are foster pets that failed to get adopted. Dr. Baranik graduated from UGA's College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences with a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture in 1999. She later received her D.V.M. from UGA's College of Veterinary Medicine in 2004. After graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Baranik worked at a spay/neuter clinic in Augusta, GA and at Animal Care Hospital in Lawrenceville, GA, and later, at Medlock Bridge Animal Hospital in Norcross, GA. After working in Norcross for seven years, she felt she could better serve her patients at her own practice in Suwanee, GA, hence the creation of Baranik Animal Care
