Overview

As a family-operated practice that’s also a fully equipped animal hospital, we provide complete animal health care with caring, personalized, and genuine service

Dr. Michael Bottorff founded East Lawn Animal Hospital with a simple mission: to provide compassionate, high-quality care for pets and their families. A 1978 graduate of Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Bottorff’s passion for veterinary medicine began in childhood, working alongside his father in their small-town clinic. After refining his skills at a large referral hospital in Florida, Dr. Bottorff returned to Fort Dodge to build a practice rooted in both experience and heart. What started as a family dream has grown into a thriving practice dedicated to advancing veterinary medicine while keeping personal, trusted care at the center of everything we do
