Dr. Brett opened Pella Pets Veterinary Clinic in March of 2005. Originally from Story City, Iowa, Dr. Brett found Pella as a Central College student-athlete. After graduating in 1985 with a B.A. in Business Management, he worked as a sales representative for Iowa Medical Supply. In late 1987, he returned to Pella to work in the Admissions Office at Central College where he met his wife Megan. After marrying in 1993, he prepared for a career transition into veterinary medicine, graduating from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1999. After working as a staff veterinarian in both Pella and Des Moines, he opened Pella Pets Veterinary Clinic in March of 2005
