Wags 2 Wellness Low-Cost Veterinary Care Center was created not only to serve our local community, but also to support fellow 501(c)(3) rescue organizations who face these same challenges every day. Our mission is to provide accessible, high-quality care that allows rescues to continue saving lives without being limited by the rising cost of veterinary services

Our journey began in 2013 with the founding of Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue. A small foster based rescue will a small goal to recue 8-10 animals per month. Since then, we have rescued thousands of animals, giving second chances to dogs, cats, pigs, snakes and a variety of other animal who were abandoned, neglected, injured, or simply ran out of time. What started as a small rescue has grown into a trusted, community-supported organization fueled by compassion, experience and an unwavering commitment to saving AND changing lives. As the rescue evolved, so did our hands-on experience. Over the years, our work naturally expanded beyond rescue alone and into boarding and daycare, grooming services, training partnerships and the daily realities of scheduling and managing veterinary care for our rescue animals. This firsthand experience gave us a deep understanding of what pets truly need not just in moments of crisis, but throughout their entire lives. Today, we are entering our largest and most impactful growth phase yet. Wags 2 Wellness will bring together everything pets need under one roof: Low-Cost Veterinary Care, Animal Rescue through Wags 2 Wishes, Boarding and Daycare, Grooming Services, Professional training partners. This integrated model allows us to create a sustainable ecosystem of care one built on years of hands-on rescue work, boarding and daycare operations, grooming experience and real-world veterinary care management for our rescue animals. By combining these services, revenue generated through boarding, daycare, grooming and training will help offset the cost of veterinary care, grooming and facility needs for Wags 2 Wishes Animal Rescue animals. Our veterinary clinic will be designed to support our local seniors with low income, other low-income households, rescue partners and everyday pet owners who may otherwise struggle to access basic care. At the same time, our boarding, daycare, grooming and training services provide high-quality options for pets while directly strengthening the foundation that allows our rescue to continue saving lives. Wags 2 Wellness will be more than a clinic it will be a connected, purpose-driven system of care, shaped by years of experience across every stage of a pet’s life.
