Welcome to North Shore Family Pet Hospital, a full service veterinary hospital caring for pets in Northbrook, Highland Park, Deerfield, Glencoe, and the surrounding areas of the Chicago North Shore. Our animal hospital aims to provide the very best medical care for dogs and cats and personalized service to our clients

North Shore Family Pet Hospital was founded in the spring of 2012 by Dr. Ben Shechter and Dr. Karen Bannow, who have a combined 45 years of veterinary experience, to provide the pets of the North Shore the best veterinary care so they live a full and healthy life. Our warm and friendly staff is also very experienced, with 75 years of combined experience in animal medical services. While our hospital is young, the operations are well coordinated so that it feels like a long-established veterinary hospital
