Coble Animal Hospital proudly serves Illinois. We take pride in providing our patients with the best care, doing everything in our hands for the health and safety of your four-legged friends. We work to make sure your pet is the healthiest they can be, and to reciprocate the unconditional love they give to us
The practice, which was founded by Dr. J. Porter Coble, was passed to his son Dr. Franklin Coble in 1985. In 2023, Dr. Coble merged the practice’s two locations to a state-of-the art facility at 2525 E. Sangamon Ave. In May 2024, Dr. Joan Saner Reeder, who had worked with Dr. Coble for 23 years, purchased the practice from her mentor. She continues its commitment to providing Springfield with the best in veterinary care
