Overview

The professional and courteous staff here at Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital is committed to provide the best possible medical, surgical, dental, and general care for our highly-valued patients

The roots of our practice go all the way back to 1969, when Dr. Robert Miller first started Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital as a combination small and large animal care practice. The hospital has remained in the Miller family ever since, with Dr. Robert Miller’s brother, Dr. Kenneth L. Miller, joining the ownership team in 1975. Together they shifted the practice’s focus to concentrate solely on small animal medicine in 1985. More than 50 years later, Dr. Robert Miller is still practicing at the hospital he first started, though it is now under the ownership of his son, Dr. R. Dale Miller II, who took the reins in 2007 after working in emergency veterinary medicine in Cincinnati, Ohio. Over the years, Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital has become a mainstay of the Bloomington community, providing compassionate, professional veterinary care to cats and dogs. Our practice takes great responsibility in caring for animal companions, because we understand how important a dog or cat can be to you and your family. In March of 2018 the original location of Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital had a devastating fire that slowed plans for a new hospital down the road. The Arlington Team pushed forward, and in the spring of 2023, a beautiful new hospital opened. The Team continues to reach for new goals to continue living the core values of Arlington Heights

Mission — Arlington Heights Veterinary Hospital is a place where animal companions are treated to the best in complete medical care. With services to cover just about anything that could arise, we make it our goal to keep patients healthy for life. Your Pet. Our Passion. Since 1969
