Highland Animal Hospital is a local company owned by the Michael J. Walker trust, and managed by the Walker family. The hospital has been a labor of love for our family since Dr. Michael Walker, DVM, started working there in 1979. Dr. Walker had a great passion for the pets and owners he served at Highland Animal Hospital. So when the opportunity arose in the 1980's for him to begin purchasing the practice, he did just that. Dr. Walker proudly owned Highland Animal Hospital up until his passing in 2023. Since his passing, his wife Jane and I, his daughter Adrienne, decided to work together along with the amazing, dedicated Veterinarians and staff of Highland Animal Hospital to keep the doors open, and continue to serve the community that Dr. Walker felt so passionate about
