Overview

At Brookville Road Animal Hospital, we combine modern medicine with a caring, practical approach to pet care. As a privately owned practice serving Indianapolis since 1972, our dedicated veterinarians provide personalized treatment for every dog and cat we see

Brookville Road Animal Hospital began as a mixed-animal practice serving pets and farm animals alike. Over the years, the clinic evolved to focus exclusively on small animals, expanding both its services and its facility to meet the growing needs of our community. In 2013, Dr. Earl Dryden and Dr. Joe Leeth joined Brookville Road Animal Hospital. This new partnership allowed us to offer advanced surgical expertise through Dr. Dryden — trained directly under the mentorship of renowned surgeon Dr. Timothy Lee — and enhanced diagnostic capabilities through Dr. Leeth’s in-house laboratory and clinical pathology services. Together, these clinicians ushered in a new era of specialized veterinary care at Brookville Road Animal Hospital. Our growth continued in 2021 when we merged with Dr. Juan Pagan’s practice, Crestview Animal Hospital, and welcomed Dr. Pagan as a new partner. Dr. Clayton Carr later joined the ownership team by becoming a partner in 2022. Since 2013, our veterinary team has expanded from three doctors to eleven. Each doctor brings unique skills and experience, allowing us to provide a wide and ever-expanding range of services. We are currently developing plans for a new two-story facility that will house our general practice, advanced imaging, and rehabilitation services, while the current location will be converted into a dedicated center for general and advanced referral surgical procedures

Mission — At Brookville Road Animal Hospital, our goal is simple: Treat every patient as we would our own pets. That means providing thorough, high-quality medical care while supporting and educating pet owners every step of the way
