Bluestem Animal Clinic has been part of the El Dorado community since 1978. Our practice was established by Dr. Jay Hedrick and later purchased by Bret Koontz, DVM, in 2003. Dr. Bret’s connection to the clinic runs deep—before becoming owner, he worked here as a veterinary assistant while attending Butler Community College
