We're large enough to truly be a full-service hospital and yet we're small enough to really care about you and your animals as individuals

Town & Country Veterinary Hospital was established in 1986 in Junction City, Kansas by Dr. Robert Haynes with the help of his wife and lifetime partner, Pamela. Dr. Haynes graduated from Kansas State University in 1986 and opened a mobile large animal veterinary practice servicing northeastern Kansas and JC Livestock Sales Inc. In 1997, the practice was expanded to include small animal and exotic medicine. A permanent hospital facility was established at that time in south Junction City. Since then, several veterinarians have practiced in our clinic. Presently, two veterinarians are employed here - Dr. Haynes and Dr. Shamburg. In 2008, grooming was added to our list of services, and several finish groomers and support staff have worked here since then. Presently we have two finish groomers on staff - Nichole Fairchild and Colleen Stafford
