Overview

Skaer Veterinary Clinic, founded by Dr. William Skaer, has served Wichita, Kansas for over fifty years. His daughter, Dr. Christen Skaer, continues the longstanding tradition of providing comprehensive veterinary services to pets from Wichita, KS and neighboring communities including Derby, Park City, Bel Aire, Haysville, Oatville, Schulte and Maize. Our animal clinic is independently owned, with strong ties to the local communities we serve!

In 1971, after completing a tour of duty as a Captain in the Air Force, Dr. Christen’s mother, Vicki, and I established Skaer Veterinary Clinic in Wichita, Kansas. Our focus was on providing quality, caring veterinary medicine for pets. Our motto was, “We treat your pets like family”. Our strength was that we were always honest with our clients and compassionate with their pets. In 2001, we built a larger, modern, state of the art veterinary clinic at 404 S Edgemoor, Wichita, Kansas
