Overview
Every Client, Every Patient, Every Time. Over 50 years of trust, compassion, honesty and respect; because our clients deserve no less
Having served the community for over 50 years, the beginnings of Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital can best be described as humble. Starting in their garage, Dr. J.C. Crowley and his one 'employee', Myra Jane Crowley, juggled building the practice and raising their six children. From these humble beginnings arose Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital. Over the next 30 years Dr. and Mrs. Crowley would build one of the largest, and longest established veterinary practices in Northern Kentucky. Over the next several years the practice would see a lot of changes and upward growth with the addition of multiple staff members and future partners joining the practice: Dr. Paul Garofolo in 1986, Dr. Mike Crowley in 1991, and then Dr. Steve Enzweiler in 1997. In 2003, the growth of the practice resulted in the addition of a satellite clinic in Falmouth, Pendleton County Veterinary Hospital. It was during this period that in response to the changing demographics of the community, Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital began shifting from a mixed practice also treating farm animals to primarily a small animal business. Many changes were to come for the practices in the following 12 years. Dr. J.C. Crowley hung up his stethoscope in 2009, having paved the way for even more growth in the future. The hospital officially stopped doing farm animal medicine in 2013. The wonderful community support allowed the hospital to outgrow its current building around the time they received notice of imminent domain in 2015. Due to a new road being proposed through the current location, property was purchased a few miles north of the business for construction of a larger, modern facility. Work began on the new property in 2017, and would continue well into 2018. In October of 2018, Grants Lick Veterinary Hospital moved into our brand new state-of-the-art, 12,000+ square foot building
