Erlanger Veterinary Hospital

Erlanger Veterinary Hospital was founded in 1982 by Dr. Stanley Hastings. We were a small practice at our inception, with one doctor in a small converted blacksmith’s shop at 14 Graves Avenue in Erlanger Kentucky. In 1995, we became the first American Animal Hospital Association accredited hospital in Northern Kentucky. We are routinely inspected by AAHA and continue to wear their logo with honor. By 1997, Dr. Hastings opened a satellite office, Union Pet Hospital, in Union, Kentucky which also achieved AAHA accreditation. As Dr. Hastings’ Erlanger practice grew, he added new doctors and staff until we eventually grew out of our first home and the practice was relocated in 2003. We converted an old bank at 3414 Dixie Highway into a state-of-the-art veterinary hospital and moved into our current location. In 2005, three of our veterinarians opened the Erlanger Pet Resort & Day Spa on the opposite side of our hospital, adding grooming, day care, and boarding to our abilities. In 2021, Dr. Hastings partnered with Encore Vet Group and was able to retire in 2023 after over 40 years of care and service
