Our clinic opened for business in May 2002 in the Chinoe Center in Lexington, Kentucky. Dr. April Newsome grew up in this area and all through vet school dreamed of someday coming back to her home town of Lexington and starting her own veterinary hospital. The hospital is actually named after her father, Noah Newsome Jr., who passed while Dr. Newsome was in veterinary school. She promised him many years before that one day she would have her own clinic and name it Noah's Ark after him, and now, after years of hard work, she has kept her promise
