Dr. Hannah Stokley was born and raised in Lexington Kentucky. From a young age she enjoyed riding horses and caring for all types of animals. She attended Locust Trace Agri-Science Center in Lexington where she completed the veterinary science program and became a certified veterinary assistant upon graduation from highschool. She completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Kentucky where she graduated with a bachelors degree in animal science and with a minor in biology and wildlife management. During her time at the University of Kentucky she worked at the university's dairy farm, conducted research with the United States Department of Agriculture, and worked as a veterinary technician. Dr. Stokley got her degree in Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University. While at Auburn University she worked as a member of the equine emergency surgery team and at Auburn's farm animal hospital. She was a member and competed on Auburn's bovine palpation team, and Auburn's American Association of Bovine Practitioners quiz bowl team. During her final year of vet school she was selected to be a Large Animal Student Resident. Dr. Stokley enjoys spending time with her husband and dogs, riding horses, and fishing
