Overview

Bullitt County Veterinary Center is proud to serve all of Bullitt County. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service

Bullitt County Veterinary Center was opened by Dr. Raymond Schaaf in 1978. Dr. Schaaf, a native of Louisville, KY completed his undergraduate degree at Eastern Kentucky University and later attended the University of Illinois, where he obtained his degree in veterinary medicine. Dr. Schaaf continues his education by attending professional meetings each year and taking classes via the internet. When the hospital opened, it was a mixed practice with several doctors who treated large as well as small animals. Today, the practice is restricted to small animals only, but does include birds, exotics, wildlife, and other small animals such as goats and sheep
