Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital is a locally owned small animal clinic that has been providing exceptional veterinary care to pets in and around the Houma area since the 1960s. Originally established by Dr. Thomas Richard at 667 Corporate Drive, the hospital was purchased by Dr. Melinda Knight in 1996
Mission — Our goal at Bayou Cane Veterinary Hospital is to provide the finest of veterinary care to pets that are brought to our facilities, and to be kind and considerate to owners. As a privately owned, single doctor practice, we have the ability to do things our own way. We take our time getting to know each patient while making sure that you and your pet feel comfortable in our relaxed atmosphere
