Overview
We are the vet your pet would choose. We’re committed to making the experience as stress-free for them as possible—which results in less stress for you, too. In fact, we proudly became Louisiana’s first Fear Free certified hospital (and the nation’s second) in April of 2018!
Dr. Violet Nix founded Chateau Veterinary Hospital in 1984 with the mission of offering the most advanced, compassionate care for pets possible. She also wanted to make her practice as comfortable and welcoming a place for people as it is for their pets because she understands that the more you involve families, the better it is for the pets of those families
