Vet Med Animal Hospital is a locally owned, full-service veterinary hospital on Kaliste Saloom Road in Lafayette. We care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets with the kind of personalized attention that comes from truly knowing our patients

Since 2011, Vet Med Animal Hospital has served Lafayette and the surrounding Acadiana area as a single-doctor practice owned and operated by Dr. Scott Tate, DVM. We've built our hospital around the idea that great veterinary medicine and a personal, familiar relationship aren't mutually exclusive. Every pet that walks through our door is treated as an individual—not a case number. Our in-house laboratory, pharmacy, and surgical capabilities allow us to provide a full range of care without sending you elsewhere
