Avoyelles Animal Clinic has been supplying veterinary care to central Louisiana since the 1960's. Dr. Troy Spencer acquired the practice at its original location in August of 2000 from the previous owner, Dr. Andries. In 2018, Dr. Spencer purchased the land and building at 7701 Highway 1 in Mansura. He remodeled the existing building, added a large animal facility, and relocated the practice to the new location in the fall of 2019
