Our doors opened for the first time in 1992 as Dr. Brian Ghere and Dr. Nancy Nathan realized their long-time dream to open their very own hospital to provide the best possible healthcare to the feline and canine residents of New Orleans. Their constant values of kindness, gentleness, and humaneness have always guided our hospital. Since opening a quarter-century ago, we have been lucky enough to grow our practice to include six additional excellent doctors: Jennifer Foster, Dr. Ghere’s daughter, Taylor Ghere, Matthew Laiche, Madison Beeco and Kevin Zamer. We are a stalwart of the Uptown New Orleans family and we are proud of our neighborhood. We are committed to our city; we were one of the first businesses to reopen after Hurricane Katrina when some of our own staff didn’t even have a place to live
