I grew up working with all sorts of animals in my hometown of Jupiter, Florida, from our dogs and cats to possums, skunks and owls at the local wildlife sanctuary. I found my passion for horses at the age of 11 and never looked back. I currently have 5 lovable dogs, 7 sassy horses, 1 pig (does not think she's a pig), and 1 un-cat-like cat. Because of my experience with animals, I knew that I was destined to be a vet and help our pets in every way I could. I graduated from LSU School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021 and chose to increase my education by taking courses for acupuncture and medical manipulation at the Chi University and IVMI in Gainesville, Florida. By offering these traditional medicine services along with conventional medicine, I'm able to treat my patients as a whole and offer preventative measures to keep them healthier for longer. Backroads Vet is here to best serve the pets in our area in the comfort of their own homes and pastures
