Brookings Animal Hospital is proud to serve Shreveport, LA for everything pet-related. Our clinic is run by a licensed, experienced veterinarian that cares for cats, dogs, birds, and some exotics. Our team is committed to educating our clients on how to keep their pets healthy year-round, with good nutrition, parasite prevention, wellness planning, and exercise. Brookings stays on top of the latest advances in veterinary technology and above all, knows that all animals and pets need to be treated with loving care in every check-up, procedure, or surgery
I attended LSU Shreveport and LSU Baton Rouge before being accepted to LSU School of Veterinary Medicine. Geaux Tigers!! I graduated with my Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1987. I then returned to Shreveport and opened Brookings Animal Hospital in December of 1988. I started out in the shopping center on McDaniel Dr. spent eight years there before expanding to my current location on North Market St. in 1996
