Plains Veterinary Hospital began in 1997 with Dr. Eddie Annison to serve the large and small animal veterinary care needs in the Zachary and Baton Rouge areas. Our hospital has grown to become a large veterinary practice while maintaining our compassion and small-town friendly personality. Our progress has stemmed from this continued level of kindness toward our patients and clients, honesty, advanced veterinary medicine and surgical techniques, and affordable care for both large and small animals. Dr. Eddie Annison built and opened Plains Veterinary Hospital in June of 1997 when returning home to Zachary after gaining veterinary experience in Many and Clinton, Louisiana
