Dr. Susan Holt is a native to Massachusetts. She was born and raised in South Weymouth. Her family moved out west to California where she attended University of California, Santa Cruz. She graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Molecular, Cellular and Developmental Biology at Santa Cruz in 2005 and received her Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from University of Illinois in 2009. She moved back to California to practice medicine. After 8 years of practice in the sunny weather Dr. Susan Holt decided that she wanted to be closer to family and moved back to the South Shore in 2017. Since then she has continued her work in general practice. Shortly after arriving home, Dr. Holt decided she wanted to do more for the community. Offering at-home euthanasia was her way of giving back to the community
