Dr. McAdam received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 1997 from the Tufts University School of Veterinary Medicine. She began her career by founding The Visiting Vet, Inc., which started with just six patients and grew to over 300 by the end of 2001. As demand for her services increased, it became clear that expanding into a full-service facility would better serve her growing client base. In 2002, Dr. McAdam purchased Ashdod Animal Clinic in Duxbury, allowing her to provide more comprehensive care to her patients. With the support of a dedicated, knowledgeable, and skilled team, the practice continued to grow and thrive. In 2017, the clinic relocated to Hanover and was reestablished under a new name: South Shore Animal Services—continuing its commitment to compassionate, high-quality, and affordable veterinary care
