Spay Now was founded by Dr. Howard. Dr. Joy Lewis began training under Dr. Howard in 2012. After a decade of dedicated work gaining experience under Dr. Howard, she and her husband purchased the practice in 2022 and moved the clinic to its Columbia location in 2024

Mission — Spay Now is committed to improving the lives of animals by providing low cost, high quality, surgical services. We adhere to high standards of anesthesia and monitoring to ensure the safety and comfort of your pet during his or her stay with us. As part of our mission to reduce overpopulation and avoid unnecessary euthanasia, every animal that enters our facility must be spayed or neutered if they are not already
