Companion Animal Care Center provides compassionate and attentive care for our neighbors in Phoenix, Maryland. We are a 1 doctor practice led by Dr. Johnston, who has been practicing for over 33 years. We offer longer appointment times to give you and your beloved pet the attention you deserve. We are also Fear Free Certified, which means we practice methods to care for your pet that will keep them as comfortable as possible during their visit with us. When you bring your companion to our pet hospital, they will be treated to the highest levels of care available. We practice current medicine & offer a personal touch of longer appointment times & flexible scheduling!

At the age of nine, Dr. Johnston's interest in veterinary medicine began. She started her education at The University of Delaware and continued on to The University of Tennessee College of Veterinary Medicine, where she graduated in 1990. She then spent the next ten years working at several veterinary clinics. Finally, on May 15, 2000, she fulfilled her dream and bought her own practice, Companion Animal Care Center. Since then we have been steadily growing, specializing in the treatment of cats and dogs
