Overview

Comforting Hands is a new veterinary house call service in the central Maine area focusing on end of life care. Dr. Beckett provides in-home hospice care and euthanasia for elderly and ill pets

Dr. Nathan Beckett founded Comforting Hands in order to provide end of life care for these beloved pets in the familiarity and comfort of their own homes. After an especially hard year of euthanizing 8 of his personal animals, some at home and some in a clinic setting, he felt called to begin offering in-home hospice and euthanasia services to his fellow Mainers

Mission — Dr. Beckett believes that helping pets end their journey on Earth painlessly, with dignity and comfort is one of the most sacred and important parts of being a veterinarian. By offering these services in-home he hopes to bring peace to pets and their families in the environment in which they are most at ease
