Located in Alpena, Michigan, Sunrise Veterinary Services is committed to providing quality, friendly care to the pets of the community and surrounding areas. We have been part of the community for over 30 years. We offer small animal medicine and surgical services. Our veterinary hospital has state-of-the-art diagnostic equipment to detect and treat a variety of small animal diseases. Each veterinarian and team member are deeply committed to the health and well-being of your pet. We love animals as much as you do!

We have been part of the community for over 30 years. This building used to be the old Sears Appliance building so it has a long, rich history. In 2004, we moved in when the original practice owner, Dr. Tim Boyd, bought the building and did loads of remodeling—much of it himself with the help of friends! All of these rooms have a deep connection with our staff, as many of them helped build it!
