Overview

Since 1992, Gobles Veterinary Clinic has been a place where pets are known by name, families are treated like neighbors, and care is never rushed. As a family-owned practice rooted in our community, we’re proud to provide trusted veterinary care that blends advanced medicine with the warmth and personal connection of a hometown clinic

For Drs. Andy and Marianne Baker, Gobles Veterinary Clinic is more than a career. It’s a passion project rooted in family and community. The story of Gobles Veterinary Clinic began long before the clinic itself. As a High School Student at Gobles High School, Dr. Marianne volunteered at Dr. Andy’s father’s practice in Paw Paw, where she met Andy. Their shared love for animals and veterinary medicine grew through college, marriage, and veterinary school at Michigan State. In 1992, the Bakers graduated from Michigan State’s College of Veterinary Medicine and opened the little clinic that could, “Gobles Veterinary Clinic,” out of their living room in their first house. One bedroom was the exam room, and the second living room was the waiting room. In 1995, the Bakers moved Gobles Veterinary Clinic into a larger 1,000 sq. ft. building behind their house, serving as Gobles’ only veterinary clinic. In 1997, Bangor Veterinary Clinic opened its doors in Bangor, MI. For nearly 30 years, Gobles Veterinary Clinic operated out of its original 1,000 sq. ft. building until it was finally time to grow. After caring for generations of pets, Drs. Andy and Marianne Baker opened a brand-new 6,000 sq. ft. facility in 2024
