Riverview Animal Hospital was established in 1956 by O.D. Dickinson and was called Dickinson Animal Hospital. Dr. Jim Cook graduated from Michigan State University with a B.S. in physiology in 1968. After serving 3 years in the U.S. Army, he entered veterinary school at MSU. Graduating in 1974, he moved to Riverview where he worked for 5 years then purchased Riverview Animal Hospital in 1979. He will be in practice 50 years in 2024
