Greenfield Animal Hospital is an independently owned practice providing Metro Detroit pets with the highest level of veterinary care & customer service

Greenfield Animal Hospital was founded in 1956 and has served the Metro Detroit area with pride ever since. Dr. Jillian Shencopp started as a kennel attendant when she was just 16 years old. She worked in many roles at the hospital until leaving for MSU. After graduating, she came back to Greenfield Animal Hospital as a proud Veterinarian in 2016. In June of 2021, Dr. Shencopp and her partner, Evie Fredenburg acquired Greenfield Animal Hospital from the previous owner, Dr. Michael Hood. Dr. Hood knew it was important to keep Greenfield Animal Hospital “in the family” and out of corporate hands
