Dr. Kraus graduated from Iowa State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1986 and established the Vetmobile Housecall Veterinary Service in 1989 to serve Rochester, Stewartville, Chatfield and the surrounding communities in SE Minnesota

Wellness Care: Physicals, puppy/kitten and adult vaccinations tailored to your pet's needs, heartworm, tick disease and intestinal parasite screenings.Chronic Disease Maintenance: Monitoring and testing chronic conditions so they can be managed at home without the stress of clinic visits.Dentistry: Dental services include teeth cleaning and polishing, dental X-rays and tooth extractions.Laboratory: Our in-house laboratory facilities provide for serum chemistry, hematology, serology, urinalysis and parasite testing.Permanent identification: We offer microchip identification.Pharmacy: We maintain a complete on line inventory of pharmaceuticals, vitamins, shampoos, flea and tick control products and heartworm preventatives to meet the needs of your pet.Individualized Flea Control Programs: Programs for the specific needs of your pet and your own particular environmental situation.Dietary Counseling: Guidance regarding your pet's nutritional needs for each life stage, including dietary requirements for growth, weight maintenance and performance.Behavioral Counseling: We can provide advice regarding the correction of problems such as excessive barking, chewing, spraying, scratching, digging, house soiling and aggression.Geriatric Care: We provide guidance as your pet gets older and needs special care to make life comfortable.Hospice: We provide care and information to help your family deal with the infirmity of age and the passing of life.Euthanasia and Cremation: When the time comes to say good-bye, we can arrange for in-home euthanasia and care of your pet's remains.Medical consults: We offer referrals to various specialists who perform ultrasounds and endoscopic procedures.Emergency Care: Please call our main telephone number for instructions for after-hour emergencies.
