JRIVS started out as an ambulatory equine practice, but over the years has developed into a house call practice for dogs and cats, focusing on in-home rehabilitation/physical therapy, acupuncture using Traditional Chinese Veterinary Medicine, spinal manipulation (animal chiropractic), food therapy, herbal medicine, Tui-na , Chinese herbals, end of life and hospice care, while extending these services to our equine patients, as well as equine dentistry services. Dr. Shantel started JRIVS in 2012 to help provide affordable, high quality care for horses, however she has realized that this in-home/on-farm service shouldn't be available to just horses! Cats and dogs would like this type of service too!
