Overview

Red Pine Trails Animal Hospital provides full-service veterinary care for dogs, cats, and exotic pets in Hopkins, MN. Our independently owned practice offers wellness visits, diagnostics, dental care, second opinions, and end-of-life support—delivered with transparency, flexibility, and Fear Free techniques

We’ve been part of a system that left people and pets behind. Dr. Tabitha Buyert has been a veterinary technician, a lab worker, a client, and now a veterinarian. After nearly two decades in this field, she’s seen the same patterns repeat: pet owners overwhelmed, technicians undervalued, and good medicine constrained by a broken system. Red Pine Trails is our response. A place where clients are partners, technicians are empowered, and decisions are made with context, not pressure. Where we talk openly about cost. Take our time with appointments. And advocate for both pets and their people—because both deserve better. We're here to build something real and respectful, from the inside out. Now we’re building what should have been there all along
