The Long Lake Veterinary Clinic, located in the western suburbs of Minneapolis, is family-owned and operated since it's establishment in 1971. We are proud to offer compassionate care to each and every pet that comes through our doors. We are dedicated to keep your pets happy and healthy. Dogs and cats are welcome at our clinic, as well as exotic pets, such as small mammals (rabbits, guinea pigs, chinchillas, hedgehogs, ferrets, mice, rats), reptiles, and birds (including backyard chickens)
Dr. Hartnett opened the Long Lake Veterinary Clinic in 1971 as a general practice tending to most species in the western suburbs. As more farms disappeared, the practice focused entirely on small companion animals. He enjoyed building the solo practice into a five-doctor team
