It has always been Dr. Ryan McCann’s dream to design a clinic that puts both patient and client comfort first. With the help and support of his family, he was able to make this dream come to life. And after several years in the making, Hawk Ridge Animal Hospital is ready to open its doors to serve the pets of our community. The McCann family is no stranger to excellent veterinary care. With a combined 25+ years of clinical and emergency experience, they have the expertise needed to provide nothing but the best for your pet. We know that pets are a part of the family, and it is our philosophy to help them live longer, happier, and healthier lives. Dr. Ryan McCann is a 1996 graduate of the University of Missouri College of Veterinary Medicine. After graduation, Dr. McCann spent four years in a mixed animal practice in Hannibal, MO, where he learned how to love below-freezing calf pulls and middle-of-the-night c-sections. In 2000, Dr. McCann left Hannibal to pursue his own interests and built his first small animal veterinary clinic in Troy, MO. In 2021, his daughter graduated from veterinary school herself and together they opened Hawk Ridge Animal Hospital
