Overview

Maysville Vet Clinic is located just outside city limits in the northwest part of Maysville, Missouri. Dr. W. Stanley Goodwin focuses on services targeted towards large animal livestock, including, cattle, horses, and pigs. Dr. Goodwin also provides services for small animal pets, typically cats and dogs

Walter Stanley Goodwin (Stan) has been practicing veterinary medicine for the past 32 years in his boyhood hometown, Maysville Missouri. It was on the family farm just outside of Maysville where he developed an interest in animal health. After graduating high school in 1972, Stan left Maysville to pursue his dream at the University of Missouri. In 1978, Stan graduated with a doctorate of veterinary medicine. He moved to Chickasha, Oklahoma and became the third veterinarian in a thriving practice. As a new vet he learned how to talk to owners and he gained valuable hands on experience. In 1979, the Maysville Clinic became available for sale; Stan returned home and purchased the practice. During Dr. Goodwin's career, he has supplied quality health care for livestock and pets to DeKalb County residents
